Akhurst Machinery employs a team of factory trained service technicians which are strategically located from coast to coast. Whether we are starting up and training your staff on new or used machinery, fixing down machines, or providing preventative maintenance, our technicians will have you up and running in no time. With a total of 16 service technicians in our 5 offices across Canada, in conjunction with our contract service technicians we are here to ensure you receive the technical support you need.

Akhurst Machinery understands that a machine sale really only begins as you, the customer takes delivery of the equipment. While we acknowledge sales as they happen we also understand the true test of an organizations success lies in its handling of customer issues and breakdowns.

As the largest independent machinery distributor in Canada we carry a large inventory of spare parts in a variety of locations. We have service agreements with all major courier companies and can arrange for sameday or overnight delivery on most stock items.

Our service coordinators have been technicians in the past and can often diagnose problems over the phone so that wait times are dramatically reduced. In the event where a service call is required you will be given priority status and a service technician will be dispatched to your facility in a time sensitive manner. By having offices on both coasts it provides for a longer working day. In other words you can call our service coordinators at 5:00 am mountain time and in the same day call them at 5:30 pm pacific time. This means 12 ½ hours of time available to talk to a real person about problems, parts and service. And your local sales rep and branch are of course always available to you.
